This Venice-based restaurant project reimagines the traditional pizzeria through a more elevated, design-driven lens. The concept blends classic Italian references with a contemporary material palette to create a space that feels both familiar and distinctive.
The interiors are anchored by a combination of deep green tones, warm neutrals, and metal accents, paired with banquette seating and custom details that add depth and character. A visible prep and service area was designed as a focal point, bringing energy and transparency to the dining experience while reinforcing the craft behind the food.
Large windows, layered lighting, and textural materials create a warm atmosphere that transitions easily from daytime café to evening wine and pizza destination. The result is a casual yet refined environment that reflects the spirit of Venice while maintaining a timeless, European-inspired sensibility.
This modern hillside home is defined by its clean lines, monochromatic palette, and restrained materiality. The client’s strong preference for black and white set the tone for a minimal yet impactful design language carried throughout the interiors.
Ezgi Sengul Studio was brought on during the later stages of the project to refine and elevate the overall design. Working with a mix of existing furniture and pre-selected items, the studio focused on creating cohesion across spaces while maintaining a sense of architectural clarity and calm.
Rather than introducing more, the emphasis was on refining what was already there, adjusting layouts, softening transitions, and layering in select pieces to complete the home without disrupting its simplicity. The result is a streamlined, modern interior that feels bold yet understated, reflecting the client’s exacting taste and minimalist lifestyle.
