Máté Bence Fazekas is a Budapest-based screenwriter and director whose work spans feature films, television, and theatre. He is the creator, director, and writer of Bróker Marcsi, a six-episode mini-series produced by RTL Hungary, premiering in 2025. His feature film Eviction earned international acclaim, including the Best Screenplay Award at the 2022 Fantasporto International Film Festival, along with selections across Europe and a Netflix release. Fazekas has written and directed several award-winning short films, contributed to internationally staged opera, and previously served as Head Writer and Story Editor at HBO Central Europe.
