I've been playing music for 18 years ever since I first picked up a guitar at 7 years old. I started individual lessons with a teacher and fell in love with the instrument. At first I got into Black American Music and British rock, and I've always improvised playing blues forms. I had my fair share of bands, composing guitar, bass parts and lyrics in my natal Spanish language. Over the years I got into jazz, mostly bebop language and started studying harmony and Charlie Parker solos, and others alike, which widely improved my technical skills, as well as my understanding of music theory. This led to a substantial amount of experience playing live music, mostly playing standard tunes from the American songbook; but also interpreting popular songs from my natal Uruguay and my own original compositions. Over time I racked up a large amount of collaborations with singer-songwriters, playing guitar for them, as well as recording in studio sessions. Currently I'm producing my bands first studio album which consists of instrumental tunes and take from jazz, rock and roll and candombe and places great emphasis in improvisation and interplay. I have a great technical command of the instrument, so I'm more than capable of playing a considerable amount of different styles and genres, likewise my compositional and music arrangements skills are very good so I can definitely produce brand new parts for your music if it's needed. I'm open to record solos, harmony arrangements, lead or rhythmic guitar, or any idea that you come up with and need a guitar capable of playing it with dexterity, and a good sound.
