At the beginning of my 42-year career working on feature films and TV shows, I focused on screenwriting. One of my first jobs was as a story analyst for the legendary literary agent Irving Lazar. Lazar represented famous writers like Ernest Hemingway, Truman Capote, and Tennessee Williams. Then, while working as a movie Assistant Director and Second Unit Director, I was represented for screenplays by the Lynn Pleshette agency. Although my first screenplay was optioned through that agency, it was around the time that personal computers came on the scene allowing me to combine my skills in writing, graphics and video production. As a result, I resolved to leave the legacy media of feature films to produce interactive new media. I was so successful with the new media that my name kept coming up when the producers of the feature film "Sliver" were looking for someone with experience in both movie production and new media production. That started my career of back to back big budget movies featuring my work whenever on actor was filmed interacting live on the set with my text, graphics animations and videos appearing on computer screens as small as an iPhone and as large as an entire wall. After about 30 features (2 Batmans, 2 Men in Blacks, etc.), I switched to TV to do the entire run of the show Bones and Seth MacFarlane's The Orville. After we wrapped The Orville, I decided it was time to get back to my first love of writing. So my wife and I left Santa Monica and moved to our home in Colorado, where I've written the first two books in my Sci-Fi series. Since most of my writing has been in screenplay format, I decided to invent a new format for novels - a modified version of the screenplay format, which has been well-received. (My children's middle grade reader book is still in the classic format.) I'm offering my services as a screenwriter on Twine, because I've very much enjoyed getting back into the magic of creating an entirely engaging world with mere words on a page.
