I am looking for a new role as a 2D animator utilizing Spine, After Effects, and Flash. I have 10+ years of experience in multiple industries such as mobile gaming and advertising.
In my next role, I would like to continue in mobile gaming animating characters, UI, special effects, and motion graphic videos. I am also learning Unity in my spare time.
At this time, I am looking for full-time/hybrid roles in California and open to a remote position.
Create high-quality, smooth, and dynamic 2D animations for characters, creatures, objects, and UI elements using Spine software
Rig 2D assets by building skeletons, creating meshes, and setting up weights to ensure flexible, realistic movement
Collaborate closely with artists, game designers, and developers to ensure animations align with the project’s artistic vision and technical requirements
Optimize animations for performance on various platforms (mobile, PC, console, etc.) without compromising visual quality.
Work with artists to prepare and process PSD files for animation, ensuring all layers and naming conventions are correct
Export and organize animated assets (including JSON and texture atlases) for seamless integration into the game engine (e.g., Unity or Unreal Engine)
Create and implement visual effects (VFX), such as particles and other motion graphics, to enhance the animations
Receive and implement constructive feedback to refine and polish animations
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new features in animation tools to improve workflow and quality
