I am a recent graduate of Elmhurst University, Illinois. I majored in Digital Media, Graphic Design, and Spanish with a minor in Film Studies. Filmmaking has been my driving passion. Whether editing, writing, camera recording or being a production assistant, I am willing to take on the role regardless of the position. I've done camera work for sports tournaments, music festivals, and charity organizations and edited for my University's local multimedia news reports for social media. Among my skills, I have efficient communication skills and experience as a public speaker and orator. I also have experience in operating the Adobe Creative Suite. In editing software, Adobe Premier Pro and Final Cut Pro are my areas of expertise. I enjoy editing video clips and footage and writing stories that I hope to adapt onto the big screen. For hobbies, I watch films, play video games, read novels, and draw and sketch in my free time. I also do personal photography on my own, when visiting places. I'm also a native Spanish speaker of Mexican descent.

paper Aiden Veal - I Don't Really Like That

I Don’t Really Like That was one of the music videos created in a year-long project collaboration between Elmhurst University’s Digital Media Department and The Base Chicago, where 7 students from Leif Erickson Middle School created original songs and music videos with the help of digital media students and faculty from Elmhurst.
13-year-old Aiden Veal composed a song that heavily focused on his feelings and emotions, and my job as his music video director was to bring that set of emotions to life, using different angles and lighting as key elements. We filmed at his school, the university campus, the Hamilton Car Collection, and the Garfield Park Conservatory.
The final edit of the video was co-edited with fellow filmmaker and alumni Sarah Glees. It premiered on June 7th at the Chicago Music Box Theater’s “Feel The Base” event, alongside the other music videos
