    uniE621 Kagaz
Website and UI/UX design for a webpage hosting multiple interviews with giants in the field of Indian Classical Music. The combination of the pastel shades, striking monochrome photography and subtle yet personality filled typeface makes for an airtight expandable, scalable and recognizable branding language that works well on both mobile as well as PC. The overall tone of the branding complements the soft and serious feel of the interviews as well as the field of Indian Classical Music itself. #webdesigner #designer #graphicdesigner
    uniE608 Utsav
Utsav is a prototype of an experimental web-publication that employs a non-linear narrative structure inspired from the Indian art form of 'Pattachitra' & the larger non-linear narrative structure of Indian storytelling in general. It presents all themes and sub-topics related to a larger topic on the screen at once, giving the user the choice to scroll into and move around each of them independently and create their own hierarchy in the narrative. #webdeisnger #uiux #webdeveloper #interactiondesign #website

A event branding project for a Real Estate Conference celebrating the young leaders in Real Estate. It was an extensive project that included logo design, pattern design, signage, advertisments, posters and a whole lot of other collaterals. So the identity was kept simple, minimal, easily scalable and unique. The diverse patterns are used to represent people of many backgrounds coming together to form this organisation. The minimal representation of an arrow adds direction and gives a dynamic quality to the design. The use of formal colours and geometric patterns adds a touch of whimsy to an otherwise extremely rigid and corporate event. #branding #logo #eventbranding #typography
    uniE621 Memphis
This is a creation in historical design styles. I chose the design movement ‘Memphis’ as my inspiration for the covers of the two hypothetical books namely ‘Memphis: Awesome or Awful’ and ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’. ‘Memphis: Awesome or Awful’ is about the design movement itself. And hence, the cover flaunts scattered, bright shapes like circles and triangles with graphic patterns such as polka dots and lines. The zany storytelling and colourful characters of the second book, ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’, relate to the core concept of Memphis as a design movement. Use of bright neon, primary colours, geometric shapes, and bold, patterns are used for visual interest and as a vehicle for storytelling. #illustration #bookcover #bookdesign
uniE621 A Guide to Graphic Writing
Writing is a challenging task for anyone. People who are not inherently comfortable with writing, can many times get intimidated by the usual structure of ‘Academic Writing’ that implements an extensive vocabulary of technical jargon and ‘Artspeak’. To break through this aura of intimidation and inaccessibility, I decided to make a short and humorous guide to “Writing about Graphic Design” that empathises with the concerns and anxieties that non-writers may have when facing the challenge of having to write. The form that this project takes is a short zine with humorous illustrations in a flat vector style, including use of visual comedy and visual puns, bright colours and striking patterns that really complement the writing style and add a lot to the humour without taking away from the heart of the content which is really helpful for anyone venturing into writing. #graphicdesigner #zine #illustrator
    uniE608 Cheriyal
Cheriyal scroll paintings are narrative pictures painted on cloth that were used by traditional storytellers of Telangana. The scroll would flow like a film roll. It was generally about 3 feet in width and went up to 40 – 45 feet in length, depending upon the story. This app lets you experience the storytelling of Cheriyal scroll paintings for yourself no matter where you are. Just open the app, select a story and point your camera at a large flat surface like a wall or a table. #appdesign #uiux #ardesign
