Experienced graphic designer specialising in Branding & Corporate Identity. I create designs that stand out in a world of visual overload by thinking differently, carefully and consistently. The idea is King and professionalism is Queen. I've worked for the Hearst Corporation and London Marathon Events and some recent clients include Triskellion Leadership, Gloucester Inner City PCN, Level Drinks and Trader TV creating identities, posters and products. Other areas of interest include custom type along with data and infographic design. I'm highly skilled in the standard design software and most importantly I think creatively to find the right solutions. Lets work together.

    uniE621 Whiteshill Playgroup
Whiteshill Playgroup is a well established childcare setting in Stroud who were looking to rebrand in a more positive and fun direction after a recent change in leadership and staffing. The brief was fairly open—play leader Anna has a background in design and was keen to avoid the standard childcare clichés both in style and concept. It needed to be friendly but professional and trustworthy. Together we conceived of the idea of chicks in a nest and from this starting point I refined a number of options into a friendly illustrative logo with accompanying chicks. I chose to pair this with National 2 from Kris Sowersby’s Klim type foundry—originally custom designed to be a bank’s corporate font, I have always admired it’s perfect balance of professionalism and humanity. probono graphicdesigner logo illustrator
    uniE621 The Noddies Awards
The Noddies is a new and slightly irreverent awards show from Trader TV, who’s interviews unearth trading insights for professional investors. The name is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the amount of footage they have each episode involving the hosts nodding in response to their guest’s answers. A golden nod toward the Oscars and a general classy feel were the main features of the brief from Dan and Hamish, the founders of Trader TV. I created a custom drawn logotype and developed the nodding head emblem that captured the essence of the nod and aimed to be serious without becoming too stuffy. logo branding designer Awards
    uniE621 LEVEL HEALTH DRINK
Level is a new sparkling ACV health drink soon to be launched that aims to curb post meal glucose spikes and help avoid that carbohydrate crash and burn. Working with a client who did not have a particular direction in mind I developed a number of options and after discussing their pros and cons, with a few round of amends we developed the levelling out wave solution combining with a bold and characterful wordmark. Developing the can design was a similar process of creating a number of ideas and working through different iterations to get a result that the client and his team were a big fan of. logo branding graphicdesigner designer
    uniE621 TRISKELLION LEADERSHIP
Triskelion Leadership is a new talent and development consultancy working in the area of corporate leadership. The company name drew inspiration from the three equal forces in the triskelion symbol, an ancient motif constructed from three interlocking spirals with holistic Celtic associations. The client was looking for a more modern and corporate approach without losing the nature of the concept. logo graphicdesigner branding
uniE621 LONDON MARATHON FINISHER TEE SHIRT
The London Marathon finisher tee shirt is a source of pride for the tens of thousands of runners who strive to cross the finish line of this iconic race each year. In an open call within the design department to come up with ideas, my ‘Got it licked…’ concept, with it’s inverted Shard cone and Big Ben flake was chosen. It was great to see people proudly showing friends and family their finisher tee-shirts at the end of the race and all over social media in the days that followed. illustrator branding graphicdesigner designer
    uniE621 ANTI-SMOKING POSTER
Gloucester Inner City PCN were looking for an eye-catching anti-smoking poster for Polish and Czech speaking residents that avoided the negative scaremongering that is so often used to try and discourage smokers. The poster reads ‘Remember, you only have one life!’ posterdesign illustrator graphicdesigner
    uniE621 LONDON MARATHON SPONSORSHIP REPORT
London Marathon Events produce reports for their sponsors outlining the success of their races in terms of both participation and ROI for the major sponsors who support the events. The brief was to bring together a variety of data and information to highlight the value of each sponsorship. The design needed to be engaging and visually interesting without being a series of big numbers and graphs, and to work within London Marathon Events brand guidelines but also create a ‘higher-end’ feel. graphicdesigner branding designer infographics
