Fantasy book illustration, fantasy character, illustration for a story

It was the creation of a character.
Mirana is a werewolf mermaid. She can appear as a beautiful female mermaid, of course, with some of the features of a werewolf. And in case of danger, she turns into an aggressive bear. This is the martial persona of her people. The spear is an individual weapon, each one is different. No one but the owner can use it. And when transformed into a bear, the spear also metamorphoses - it becomes poisonous claws.
By the way, only in the form of a bear can they go on land.
