Through my time at the University of the Arts, I have honed my skills in painting, graphics, and concept development. I enjoy collaborating with fellow artists and pushing creative boundaries, and I am always eager to explore new challenges in the art world.
This project explores a series of illustrated grandmother characters, each with a unique personality and visual identity. I developed the concept and designed the characters, experimenting with different shapes, styles, and expressive details to capture distinct moods and archetypes. The file documents the character design process, including visual exploration, stylistic decisions, and the development of each grandmother’s appearance.
This project is a fully handmade artist’s book created from concept to final object. I developed the entire visual and conceptual direction, beginning with original illustrations and continuing through every stage of production. The process included illustrating the pages, designing and cutting stencils, hand-printing elements, and constructing the physical book. I also designed and assembled the cover and bound the book by hand, completing the entire object independently as a Fine Arts maker. The book was presented as an art object for a book exhibition. The concept explores reflections on childhood — revisiting the sources of early inspiration, imagination, and the visual memories that shape creative identity. This project combines illustration, printmaking, and bookmaking into a single tactile artwork, emphasizing the value of slow, manual processes and the intimate relationship between story, image, and physical form.
