    uniE621 Summer Night
A personal work exploring the body of men and the freedom and openness to animal and nature we have long forgotten. illustrator
    uniE621 Dangers Without Borders
These are some of the hero and supporting illustrations for Digital Public Square’s Foreign Interference Resilience Initiative Project, titled ‘Dangers Without Borders.’ The work brings attention to the issue of transnational repression—“when foreign governments reach across borders to intimidate, coerce, or harm diasporas and critics.” The illustrations depict scenarios of troubling situations that are recurring. illustrator

uniE621 Slices of Corona Life - Home Aquarium
Living in the COVID-19 epidemic sure has shaken up our lifestyles. I wish to bring attention to some of the issues I’ve come across through whimsical and satirical illustrations. This is Vancouver during the coronavirus global crisis. Home Aquarium Zoos and aquariums around the world are having difficulty keeping afloat during the global crisis, and may face permanent closures. What will happen to the animals? illustrator
    uniE621 Nuworld Branding & Packaging
The project is to rebrand Nuworld, and its major line of products - the rice blends. The client wanted to reference its products in the logo, hence we went for a modernized illustrative approach. The curved rice stalks help create an organic and natural vibe along with the circular lines in the background, which can be seen as the sun in the field of grains, or the world in “Nuworld”. The packaging design also called for modernization. Originally sold in hard plastic containers, the pouches were introduced to be more environmentally friendly. The icons for the cooking instructions, created in the same style as the illustrative line art logo, along with the color palette, are to give the brand a younger and fresher appearance. branding logo graphicdesigner designer illustrator packaging
    uniE621 Elephant Garden Creamery Branding
Elephant Garden Creamery is an ice cream business based in Vancouver that specializes in Asian flavours. Initially started out as a cart at local food markets, the business quickly grew into a physical shop. The brand name came from the love of Asian animals and nature scenes, hence the idea of serving out Asian-inspired flavoured ice cream. The client wanted to use elephant and greenery to represent the brand name in the branding design. A typographic logo is created in the shape of an elephant, while greenery is used throughout the brand as branding elements. A secondary logo is also created with the emblem of an elephant on an ice cream cone, to be used as a circular stamp. graphicdesigner branding illustrator logo
    uniE621 Mondivan Branding
Mondivan is a young real estate development company located in Vancouver. The client wanted to rebrand the business to express the values of design, professionalism, and comfort. The logotype is created from lower-cased letters and a staggered type treatment, connoting a playful and whimsical vibe while staying professional. The logotype format is preferred to better aid in recognition, which a young brand may lack. The geometric Futura PT is paired with MillerBanner to evoke the classic marriage of sans-serif and serif. The combination shows sophistication and modernity. The color palette is inspired by the use of wood and concrete in architecture, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere while staying modern and geometric. graphicdesigner designer logo branding
