Shush! is a project I executed during my time at Jumbaya Talesfarm Ltd. It is a children's illustrated and animated storybook following the story of Shush, the monster that HATES noise.
Shush is your average monster. He lives in a trash can, in a haunted alley way in a loud bustling city. Except there is only one problem. Shush HATES noise. He begins to shush the loud sounds that are all around him. However, his hate soon grows and he becomes intolerant to even the slightest of noises! This story follows his journey as he navigates the hustle and bustle of his surroundings and learns, albeit the hard way, to be more tolerable of his surroundings.
For this project, I edited and co-wrote parts of the script, conceptualised the pre-production starting from storyboarding, character design, visual treatment and colour script and finally executed the final illustrations and animation of the story.
