She has written music for renowned Icelandic choirs such as Hljómeyki and Kór Langholtskirkju, Iceland Symphony Orchestra and JACK Quartet. Her music has been played in Iceland, around the USA and in Japan. Graduated as a summa cum laude from Berklee College of Music and with a master's degree from New York University where she studied with Pulitzer Prize in Music recipient Julia Wolfe.
