Refactored a legacy Python codebase for SAR image decoding into a modular, reusable architecture. Extended existing image-processing algorithms to support new satellite product capabilities. Worked independently to improve maintainability and readability of an undocumented geospatial data-processing codebase.

Designed and implemented interconnected filters for a customer-facing analytics dashboard using React/Redux. Built an asynchronous export workflow (Excel/PDF) end-to-end: backend job processing, file delivery via S3, and email delivery of download links. Refactored filter logic from frontend to dedicated backend endpoints, moving toward a per-chart endpoint architecture during a broader TypeScript migration. Led a JavaScript-to-TypeScript migration on an internal tool, introducing Swagger documentation and a Jest/Pytest test suite from scratch. Built FastAPI endpoints for a satellite-imagery data pipeline with async processing and status tracking. Integrated Leaflet maps with custom markers/popups for geographic visualization. Implemented user activity audit logging across the platform. Worked in a small team with regular code reviews and collaboration across Node.js/Express and Python services.

Validated geographic map data using satellite imagery and multiple external data sources, correcting inaccuracies and escalating complex cases. Investigated and resolved mapping inconsistencies across large-scale map content over several years. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to improve data validation processes for a widely-used mapping product.
