    paper Future Encounters

As part of a team, I contributed to a transmedia project, Future Encounters, which explored the metaverse and immersive technologies. I led the creation of a cohesive visual identity, including an avatar, logo, and brand fonts that reflected cutting-edge technology and trustworthiness. For the social media campaign, I designed infographics, memes, videos, and curated posts, tying them into our documentary to drive awareness. During the documentary premiere, I live-tweeted to engage the audience in real-time. This project demonstrated my ability to integrate transmedia storytelling with creative marketing strategies.

    paper "Project 198" Film Concept

As part of a team, I contributed to “Project 198”, a science fiction narrative inspired by themes from The Matrix, 1984, and The Giver. The project culminated in a trailer that presented the story’s key narrative points in a nonlinear sequence, designed to captivate and intrigue audiences while conveying the tone and overarching narrative.

Working on the writing team, I helped craft the story using Truby’s 22 steps as a structural guide, carefully organizing the narrative elements and then rearranging them to fit the trailer’s nonlinear approach. Using a combination of digital tools and hands-on methods like sticky notes, we collaboratively refined the trailer script to ensure an engaging and logical flow.

In addition to script development, I contributed to post-production by color-correcting two key clips in HitFilm Express, ensuring visual consistency before passing the clips to the editing team.

This project was particularly rewarding as it was my first experience working within a specialized role on a large, multi-phase production. While relinquishing creative control after script development was a new challenge, seeing the other teams bring our narrative to life through visuals and editing was deeply satisfying.

    paper Angel Run

In this group project, we created an infinite side-scroller (“Flappy Bird” clone) titled Angel Run, featuring an angel navigating obstacles in her flight from hell. I designed the game’s visual identity, including promotional materials, app store assets, and a trailer, and composed an original soundtrack to enhance the player experience. Using tools like GIMP, HitFilm Express, and Studio One, I ensured the game’s branding and audio elements aligned with its divine themes.

    paper Short Film

This solo project challenged me to conceptualize, write, produce, act in, and edit a 90-second dramatic film. The story follows a disillusioned photographer grappling with family memories through an inherited camera. I used HitFilm Express for video editing, Studio One for audio production, and GIMP for storyboarding. Managing the entire production alone was a rewarding challenge, showcasing my skills in narrative development, filmmaking, and post-production.

    paper Sunset Samurai

For this group project, I worked as composer and sound designer on a 2D action game developed in Unity. I created the game’s musical identity and integrated adaptive audio using C# scripting to respond dynamically to gameplay events. In addition to composing the soundtrack, I produced sound effects and managed their implementation to align with the game’s visual style and pacing. The project involved close collaboration with designers and programmers to ensure that music and audio supported player immersion and narrative flow. Feedback highlighted the strong thematic fit of the soundtrack and the successful integration of interactive audio elements into the overall gameplay experience.

paper Music Production Exploration with Complementary Video Content

Over the course of three years, I created and released more than 35 original short-form videos for Instagram, combining music production with video editing to explore audiovisual storytelling within a time-constrained format. The project was a hands-on exercise in rapid composition, sound design, mixing, and audiovisual synchronization, honing my efficiency while maintaining creative integrity.

Working in Logic Pro and later Studio One for music production and DaVinci Resolve and HitFilm for video editing, I challenged myself to develop complete musical ideas that fit within Instagram’s (then) 60-second video limit. This iterative approach sharpened my skills in composition, production workflow, and content optimization for digital platforms.

Beyond technical development, the project was instrumental in defining my artistic voice, reinforcing the relationship between music and visual media in a dynamic, shareable format. It also broadened my understanding of platform-specific media strategy, transitioning from audio-only formats (SoundCloud) to more engaging, visual-first content.
