I’m Lucy Payne, a highly creative, enthusiastic and self-motivated graphic designer with a passion for design and a background across in-house, agency and freelance work.
I’ve delivered print and digital design for a wide range of clients, from logos and branding to packaging, websites, digital screens, signage, adverts and social assets, plus motion graphics. I bring photography, illustration and typography skills to the table and manage the full design process from briefing and concepts to retouching and artworking, with additional experience in web design, CMS, SEO, prototyping, wireframes and UX/UI.

Franchine Young Ireland is an organic skin care brand with a passion for pure ingredients, simplified skin care and a desire to protect people, animals and the environment. The client wanted the branding to be given a refresh. This involved working on all aspects of it, from the directing the photography, to designing and creating the logo, packaging, website and social media.

Tenol is a beauty and health care brand that provides products that repair and improve lips. The client wanted to develop their website and give it a refresh. They also asked me to create new assets to promote their products on social media.
It was decided that the NEC brand could do with a refresh to show the busy, confident and exciting nature of the NEC! All of the designers (7 of us) in the NEC Group studio were given the same brief to refresh the brand (initially on our own) and to then present back to the rest of the NEC team. Unfortunately due to the pandemic the project was put on hold, but the initial feedback from the rest of the NEC team was very positive!
The brief was to design and layout Frankie & Benny’s main menu and to create other collateral needed to promote it. This included banners, A-boards and digital screens as well as assets for various social media channels.
During Summer 2022 Chiquitos toured the UK in a van selling their famous churros. The brief was to help create various collateral to promote their #ChiqsOnTour event. This included ABoards, flyers, flags as well as digital and social media assets.
The brief was to create all of the branding for the Snow White pantomime at Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham (now Utilita Arena) and The SSE Arena, Wembley in December 2016. This included the logo, posters, adverts, leaflets, digital screens and assets for social media.
The brief was to redesign a bar located inside Resorts World Arena. The name of the bar was to remain the same - Lakeside Bar, but the look and feel needed to be updated. A lakeside/boat shed style theme was requested - boats, oars, wood, greenery, fairy and ball lights. Corrugated iron/wood/rope with bright colours and a logo to keep it more modern. The idea of an outdoor feel with artificial plants/a living wall was also mentioned.
As well as redesigning the logo, I designed all of the bar area and created menus, advertising, signage and other assets including the digital menu screens that appear by the bar and around the rest of the venue.
