Hi everyone, I am Idalis (eye-dallas) Vallejo! My hands-on experiences in marketing, education, and global engagement began while completing a study abroad program in Florence, Italy, an opportunity that transformed my perspective and ultimately guided me to the roles I hold today. In my current role as a Marketing & Sales Coordinator at SafeAbroad, I support lead generation, client outreach, and digital marketing efforts to expand partnerships and promote travel risk management solutions for institutions and universities. At the same time, I serve as an English Language Assistant in Madrid, Spain, supporting secondary school students with grammar, vocabulary, and writing, while collaborating with teachers to meet educational goals. Because my experience abroad changed my life, I now pay it forward as a Scholarship Reviewer for the Fund for Education Abroad. I review applications and interview candidates to support diverse, underrepresented students in pursuing study abroad opportunities.
