I am a Generalist Spatial Designer who specializes in rapid prototyping XR experiences, creating storyboards, modeling detailed environments, and designing interactions that stimulate sensory engagement. As a creative, self-directed, and research-oriented postgraduate from the Master of Simulation and Immersive Technologies program at UNSW Sydney, I leverage my understanding of immersion to design engaging experiences that align with audience values. Developed an immersive application that enhances chemistry education through markerless Augmented Reality experiences, using Google’s AR Core and Unity Engine. The app, Teach AR, features 3D models of educational tools such as atomic models and the modern periodic table, along with interactive quizzes. It is currently in development and has not yet been published to the Google Play Store, as I am integrating insights gained from my Master’s coursework.
As a part of my capstone project during my final term at UNSW, I worked on creating an immersive archaeogaming framework for a multi-year research project, The GLAC Project. The project aims to create an experience to showcase the values associated with the dig to archaeological enthusiasts, future students, and common people interested in learning about history. It has been a short yet very productive learning opportunity where I explored Archaeological Tools, Methods, and Documentation, the concept of Archaeogaming, Narrative modalities in games, and a lot of technical skills in Unity Engine - from Scene Transitions to Terrain Generation Tool, and Scripting and Debugging. This prototype may not be the most visually mesmerizing experience I have designed, but definitely the most working and interactive experience I have built thus far.
The narrative of a war between Lions and Unicorns, often conveyed through children’s rhymes, has sparked my research into a conspiracy storyline involving these two factions. Currently in active development, “Undead Unicorns” is an immersive experience featuring a linear story with user agency. Players embark on an adventure to find a crucial object needed to save both the Monarch and the Beast Emperor. Currently working on the expanded narrative for a Visual Novel experience and deepening my understanding of Unity.
