Illustrating Two Moments from a Love Story
This commission was another part of the same book project, featuring two separate moments between the main couple.
The client provided specific ideas for the poses, clothing, and overall appearance of each scene. One illustration focused on an intimate kiss, with the male character wearing a grey Boston Red Sox sweatshirt and the female character in a white tank top.
The second scene showed the couple in a more casual moment, with the female character holding the male character’s arm. Their outfits were also carefully specified by the client: a maroon long-sleeve shirt and dark wash jeans for him, and a white long-sleeve hoodie with medium wash jeans for her.
Since these characters had already been established in previous illustrations, an important part of the process was keeping their appearance consistent while creating two new scenes that felt natural within the story.

This illustration was created with a simple idea in mind: make a birthday artwork that could work for as many people as possible.
I designed the concept around different ages, placing the age directly on the birthday cake so the illustration could be used for different birthdays rather than being tied to one specific person or age. I also created variations with different clothing colors, giving people more options to choose from depending on their preference.
The artwork was created as a public birthday illustration that people could use to celebrate themselves, their friends, or someone they care about. It was published on my Instagram and eventually reached more than 46 million views, with the artwork being shared and seen by a large audience across social media.
The idea behind the project was not simply to create a pretty birthday image, but to make something flexible and easy for people to use. Designing the artwork around different ages and visual variations helped turn one illustration concept into something that could work for many different people and occasions.

This illustration started as a simple idea: create a birthday artwork that anyone could use to celebrate someone they love.
Instead of making it for a single client, I designed the illustration as a public piece that people could use when wishing themselves, their friends, or someone special a happy birthday. The idea quickly connected with a much wider audience than I expected.
The original artwork was published on my Instagram and went on to reach more than 114 million views. Since then, the illustration has been shared and reposted across different pages and social media accounts, which means many people may have come across the artwork without knowing where it originally came from.
I am the original artist and creator of the illustration, and the original publication can be verified through the date and post history on my Instagram page.
What makes this project especially meaningful to me is that it was not created simply to showcase my work. It was designed to be useful to people — something they could pick up and use to make someone’s birthday a little more special. Seeing that idea travel so far and become part of so many people’s birthday messages was one of the most rewarding experiences behind my work.

Custom Skincare & Beauty Illustrations — A Three-Piece Commission
This was a custom three-piece illustration commission created for a client’s skincare and beauty room.
The client wanted a set of illustrations that would fit naturally into the atmosphere of the space while keeping the overall look playful, stylish, and visually expressive. Each piece featured a different beauty and self-care moment, from a relaxing skincare routine to a more glamorous setting with a face mask, wine glass, and fresh details.
I created all three illustrations from scratch, paying close attention to the characters’ expressions, poses, hands, facial details, and the small elements that make each scene feel complete. I also kept the visual language consistent across the three pieces so they could work together as a collection rather than looking like separate artworks.
The goal was to create artwork that felt personal and decorative at the same time — something that could add character to a skincare space while still reflecting the client’s personality and the fun side of beauty and self-care.

This was a fully custom illustration created from the client’s detailed vision for a cinema scene.
The client wanted the artwork to feel as if the viewer was sitting at the front of a cinema, looking directly toward the audience. The composition had to follow a very specific seating plan, with multiple rows of characters carefully positioned according to the client’s layout.
The center seat of the front row was especially important, as it was reserved for the client’s boyfriend. His appearance was recreated from a personal reference photo, while all of the surrounding characters were fictional characters chosen by the client.
One of the biggest challenges of the project was bringing such a large group of characters together while keeping each one recognizable. I recreated their iconic outfits, adapted their appearances to the illustration style, and paid attention to the individual expressions and emotions requested for each character.
I built the scene from the ground up, including the cinema environment, seating arrangement, character placement, clothing, poses, expressions, lighting, and overall composition. The final artwork was designed to feel like one cohesive scene rather than a collection of separate characters.
This project was a great example of turning a very detailed client concept and layout into a finished, fully illustrated scene while maintaining the personality and visual identity of every character.
A Couple’s Story, Captured in a Single Moment
This was a follow-up commission for the same couple created for a book project.
After the original character illustration, the client wanted to explore the characters in a more personal and intimate moment. The pose and overall feeling were based on the client’s references, while keeping the characters consistent with their original designs.
For this illustration, I focused on capturing the relationship between the two characters through their expressions, body language, and small details. The goal was to make the scene feel warm and natural rather than simply placing two illustrated characters together.
Keeping the characters recognizable from the first commission was especially important, while still giving this image its own atmosphere and personality.
This project was created for a book and focused on bringing the two main characters to life visually.
The client provided detailed references and descriptions for both characters, including their age, height, build, skin tone, eye color, hair, and other personal features. The goal was to create illustrations that stayed true to the author’s vision while giving the characters a natural and recognizable appearance.
I paid special attention to their height difference, facial features, hair, clothing, and overall relationship so the final illustration would feel like a real representation of the couple from the story.
The final artwork shows the two characters together in a simple, clean composition, giving the reader a first visual impression of the couple and their personalities.
