Inspired by real events, The Penguin and the Fisherman tells the heartwarming story of an extraordinary friendship between João (played by Jean Reno), a Uruguayan fisherman, and DinDim, the penguin he rescues. The film explores themes of empathy, nature, and the deep bond between humans and animals. Some of the scenes involving dangerous situations for the penguin were animated in 3D by me, using a digital double to ensure that the real DinDim was never harmed.
