I’m a freelance Sound Editor, Sound Designer and Audio Engineer based in London, working across film, documentary, audiovisual media and music. My work combines technical audio editing with a creative approach to sound and storytelling. I have experience in dialogue editing and clean-up, SFX editing, stereo sound design, ambience, recording and mixing, with a particular interest in building detailed soundscapes that strengthen narrative, atmosphere and the relationship between sound and picture. I’m an Avid Certified Pro Tools Specialist and First Class Music Production graduate, with six months of focused industry training in sound post-production for film and television. My technical experience includes Pro Tools session setup and organisation, picture-based workflows, dialogue editing, iZotope RX, EQ, dynamics, noise reduction, SFX, Foley, conforming and professional audio delivery. I also have familiarity with AAF-based workflows and picture changes. My creative practice draws heavily on Foley, field recording, found sound, sampling and resampling, giving me a strong foundation in creating and editing ambience, textures and spot effects. I’ve worked independently with clients and collaboratively with filmmakers and other creative practitioners, taking projects from initial brief through editing, revisions and final delivery. I’m particularly interested in developing further within professional film and television sound editorial, bringing strong organisation, critical listening, technical curiosity and a collaborative approach to a post-production team.
