Designer at Pronto Independent Game
October 30, 2025 - October 30, 2025
Worked on a team of 7 to develop a multiplayer FPS arena shooter. Designed level layouts using Photoshop, prioritizing balance and movement flow. Modeled level geometry for competitive, 4-player, FFA maps using Blender. Researched and tested numerous features for implementation into combat design. Prototyped level gyms/playgrounds with the intention of feature and game-mode testing.

On a team of 7, completed a tower-defense/rhythm game for Games Link 2025. Cooperatively designed and documented features, synergizing strategy and rhythm elements. Designed level layouts and built level geometry from prototype to finalized geometry. Modeled, set dressed, and conceptualized all environment assets including props. Conducted weekly playtests, utilizing user and mentor feedback for further iteration. Created and implemented a variety of VFX using Unity's Visual Effects/Shader graphs.

On a team of 5, completed a third-person hoverboard racing/platforming, delivery game for final project Shred Ex in Unreal Engine 5. Collaborated with the team to design and document mechanics, gameplay loop, and pillars. Created level layouts using Illustrator/Photoshop, prioritizing player flow and navigation. Designed and blocked out an open-world city environment from prototype to final geometry. Organized playtests, documenting feedback and observations for further iteration. Formed a living-world using set dressing, procedural systems, spline tools, and VFX systems.
