Hi I’m Jake and I’m a Singer/Songwriter & Lyricist working inside and out of the U.K. I have been writing my own material since 2017 for a variety of different projects. Though in the earlier stages of my career I found that my bread & butter was found in all things ‘Folk / Acoustic’. I have seen some Commercial Success in 2020 from my work as a solo artist when my single ‘Home’ reached over 200,000 streams and was placed on the Spotify Editorial playlist ‘Easy’. I also front a band called ‘Badlands’ - a Funk/Soul/Rap/RnB project designed to fuse together several genres both old & new (think Jamiroquai meets Anderson Paak.). I have gigged in and around Bath & Bristol with this project and we have sold out many well-known venues in the local area. I have also featured on several artists work including my recent collaboration with the U.K. based band ‘1AM’ on their new single ‘Take Me Home (ft.
