Jamie Chung

Born in Hong Kong, raised in Australia, I’m am animation director and senior 3D character animator with 10+ years of experience across feature animation, VFX and independent production.

My work has contributed to productions for Netflix, Warner Bros. and Sony Pictures, including The Sea Beast and the LEGO movie franchise. I’ve worked through leading studios including Sony Pictures Imageworks, Netflix Animation, Framestore and Luma.

I’m also co-founder and co-director of Cloudpunk, where I lead animation, visual development and creative production. Alongside established animation pipelines, I’m actively integrating AI and real-time tools into my workflow to accelerate visual development, exploration and iteration—while keeping story, taste and performance at the centre.

Available for remote freelance and project-based work in character animation, animation direction, previs/layout and cinematic storytelling.
