I'm an illustrator who blends digital tools (mainly Photoshop and Illustrator) with traditional media (acrylic paint and acrylic inks) in order to depict posters, character illustrations, and graphic novel designs which focus on history, psychology, science, and humanity's relationship with the natural world. I have an affinity for science fiction and fantasy books. They inspired my passion for world-building and human connection. Today, empathy and integrity are core values I bring to every project, excelling as both an independent creator and a highly collaborative team member.

    So much love out there
Created during my "Intro to Graphic Design" course in the ArtCenter Extension summer semester I took after graduating from school in spring 2023, the project brief described creating a poster for a charity or cause of our choosing. I chose the organization "The Trevor Project", which aims to connect LGBTQ youth with mental health services in order to eliminate youth suicide amongst queer youth. My goal was to depict the loneliness and isolation that queer youth may experience when not connected to other queer youth, or when they live amongst family or others who may be unaccepting or hostile to difference, and to illustrate that "there's so much love out there". "Astronaut Pride" for Pressed Juicery
I was commissioned by the beverage brand Pressed Juicery (based in Pasadena, CA) to create an illustration for their drink label capturing the celebratory nature of Pride Month. I wanted to utilize my love for science fiction to illustrate an analogy for queerness as being like an astronaut exploring other uncharted worlds or environments. I aimed to capture an atmosphere of discovery, exploration, and how beautiful life can be in order to illustrate queerness as a joyful and beautiful thing to be. Sons of Gondor
I received a commission to portray a romantic scene between the characters Aragorn and Boromir from J.R.R. Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. My interpretation of the characters included designs influenced by Japanese culture for Aragorn (on the left) and Nepalese culture for Boromir (on the right). Depicting them standing in front of the city of Minas Tirith at daybreak was meant to evoke a sense of warmth, intimacy, and the heroism and sense of duty and integrity both characters showed in Tolkien's story. Black Hole Son
Using a blend of traditional drawing and acrylic ink painting, and digital vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator, I created a self-portrait that encapsulated the sense of being eternally in search of answers to big existential questions. Earth Day '25
To celebrate Earth Day 2025, I illustrated various plants and animals from diverse biomes to create the letters of the word "Earth". Illustrations were a blend of traditional drawing and digital painting. The flora and fauna in the letter aquatic in the letter "E", desert lifeforms in the letter "A", tropical and rainforest organisms in the letter "R", plants and animals native to tundras and polar climates in the letter "T", and various motifs and symbols from human cultures around the world in the letter "H".
