Jenny Otsuki | Digital Content Creator & Video Editor

I am a Tokyo-based Digital Content Creator and Video Editor with a professional background in education. After several years as a Secondary Teacher specializing in subjects like History, Social Studies, and English, I transitioned into the world of digital media to combine my passion for storytelling with technical production.

Currently, I produce and edit content across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, focusing on the intersections of travel, culture, and life in Japan. My experience as an educator allows me to approach video projects with a unique lens—ensuring content is not only visually engaging but also clear, structured, and informative.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

Video Editing: Proficient in DaVinci Resolve and CapCut, handling everything from long-form narrative storytelling to fast-paced short-form content.

Content Strategy: Experienced in managing the end-to-end creative process for social media platforms.

Language & Communication: Native English (C2) and German speaker, with fluent French (C1) and ongoing studies in Japanese.

Project Management: Highly organized with a history of managing complex schedules and academic curriculums, now applied to meeting tight production deadlines.

What I Bring to Your Project: Based in the heart of Tokyo, I am eager to collaborate on projects that celebrate culture, education, and lifestyle. Whether you need a detail-oriented editor for a “talking-head” series, a creative eye for travel content, or a multilingual partner for international projects, I provide high-quality results driven by curiosity and a commitment to excellence.

I’m always interested in new creative challenges—feel free to reach out if you’d like to collaborate.
