I am a Games Design Graduate who's worked on a number of game projects, both as part of my university course and independently, and am looking for an opportunity to use what I have learned in industry and to further expand my knowledge and I believe working with yourselves would be an ideal fit. Gaming has always been one of my main hobbies, with thousands of hours into FPS, RTS and Turn-based strategy, MOBA, MMO and RPGs, I have a wide range of gaming experience a great passion for what games can offer in terms of entertainment, storytelling, education and mental exercises as a medium. In addition to this I have a passion for a lot of Board Games and Roleplaying Games such as Dungeons and Dragons and Pathfinder. I have previously worked on several games as a Games Designer, Narrative Designer and Producer and am quite familiar with the process of agile development within a team. Within these roles, I contributed to a wide variety of ways and stages including ideation, gameplay feature design, level design, generating documentation, grey boxing, dialogue and narrative composition, liaising communication between programmers and artists, organising meetings and project planning through Trello boards, ClickUp, and implementing levels and features in as well as basic feature scripting through visual scripting in Unreal Engine and work with C++ and C# on Unity. As a Narrative Designer in game projects, I have been responsible for character backstory, personality and dialogue and overall game narrative. I have additional experience in Character writing through my hobby in D&D in writing characters and NPCs, World Building and quest narrative. I believe I bring a solid foundation of game design principles and a unique creative perspective which has been very useful in ideation in my previous projects that I would love to utilise for your company. Throughout my working life, I have worked with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and with the public in differing roles and capacities and as such believe my interpersonal skills allow me to quickly adapt to any environment and culture in any team.
