I am seeking a Boston-area cinematographer/camera operator for an in-person interview with historian and author Quinn Slobodian at Boston University for my feature documentary, The Revolution Will Be Televised. The shoot will take place on either Thursday, November 12, from 8:00–10:00 AM, or Friday, November 13, from 8:00–11:00 AM, using one date only. The interview will run for around 45–60 minutes, with approximately 30 minutes for setup and breakdown. I will conduct the interview, so you can focus on camera, lighting, and sound. I need a solo owner-operator with a small, portable professional documentary interview kit, including a 4K-capable cinema or mirrorless camera, tripod, interview lighting, and professional audio with two sources where possible, such as a lavalier and shotgun or boom microphone. Please provide all necessary accessories and transfer the original video and audio files to my external SSD at the end of the shoot. No editing or post-production is required. Documentary interview experience and the ability to work independently are essential. Read more
