We are Mindsight Interactive, an education-development organisation creating game-based learning products rooted in constructivist pedagogy. We need an applied researcher to translate learning theories, including constructivism, socio-emotional learning, motivation, and collaborative learning, into practical game mechanics and product requirements for Forrest™, our serious game-based literacy tool, and future learning modules for low-resource education settings. The researcher will audit Forrest™ against our educational principles, develop actionable game-based learning design principles, specify a new module or expansion, and create a practical validation plan for school pilots in Nigeria. You should have experience in applied learning science, educational psychology, or serious games, with a proven ability to turn research into usable products. Familiarity with game design, rapid literature reviews, learning measurement, and Global South or under-resourced education contexts is valued.
