I'm a visual communication designer and Certified RGD with the Association of Registered Graphic Designers. My design career started in a drafting room, colouring maps with a set of Prismacolor pencils while learning Adobe Illustrator. Unconditionally curious about finding and forming meaning, I studied philosophy at the University of British Columbia, graphic design at Emily Carr University of Art + Design and worked for many years as an art and communications director and lead designer. With a love of ethics and aesthetics, I'm known for out-of-the-box thinking and a commitment to design excellence. My client experiences cover a range of industries, including building science, healthcare, mining, the arts and education. As a creative who celebrates collaboration and innovation, my process is influenced by research methods, new digital technologies and a fine arts background. Currently living in Vancouver, I'm passionate about how design can help shape optimistic futures for people, community and our planet.
