"Agaric Altar"

Hand-illustrated design, “Agaric Altar.” Digital artwork using traditional methods.

This drawing is inspired by the natural beauty of decay & its divine necessity in a healthy ecosystem. The deceased red fox at the center has become a source of life & nurishment to the circle of fly agaric mushrooms surrounding it. The entangled amalgamation of decomposing flesh & mycelium appears to morph into a single organism.
