“Ready For Your Love is a song about honesty. I’ve lied to myself for years about many things including music, happiness, love, etc. I’ve never fit into a single category of human or musician and I’ve always felt as though I had to prove myself in multiple different settings. When this song came to me, I knew it had to be the first one I’d release to the world as a solo artist. It’s catchy, pop-y, upbeat, and the antithesis of what I’ve always been into writing. I’ve always gravitated towards darkness or sadness. With this song, I’m hoping to shift that paradigm. It doesn’t mean that the darkness isn’t still there. It’s just on pause for a moment.”
