I’m Joelle Saroufim, an Architect with strong interest in Architectural Visualization. With academic and professional experience in both the Middle East and the United States including: a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Lebanon, a Master of Architecture from California, and internships in Saudi Arabia and Los Angeles; I bring a strong international perspective and solid technical foundation with over four years of professional experience working in architectural visualization, both as a freelance visualizer and as an architectural design intern, producing high-quality renderings and animations for a range of project types and scales. My work spans K–12, cultural, and residential projects, with contributions to renderings and animations, coordination, CD sets, and code assessments. I have been recognized with the AIA Medal for Academic Excellence and selected as a Helmle Fellowship publication participant, and I recently earned my LEED Green Associate credential. At California State Polytechnic University, I served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Building Construction I, Building Construction II and Environmental Controls, reinforcing my technical understanding of building systems. I also bring experience in marketing, communication, and production, which helps me tailor visuals to different audiences and presentation goals. I may not be the strongest candidate on paper yet, but I can assure you that I am a hard worker, a fast learner, and highly adaptable. I’m confident that my diverse project experience, technical skills, and commitment to high-quality, sustainable design would make me a strong addition to your team.
