Julian H. Horner

Check out my third and latest full length album Halcyon Listening Room - a collaboration with sound healer Evolvlove. I produced this record completely on my own from my home studio, tracking piano and editing, mixing, and processing all the sounds along with samples from sound healer Evolvlove's vast arsenal of sonic healing instruments such as crystal and bronze bowls, gongs, flutes, percussion, tuning forks, and more. I am pretty proud of this music even though I can absolutely hear now where i could've done things better! A labor of love, produced on and off over the span of about 4 years from the first initial conception of the album. Very proud of this work and all it symbolizes for my journey as a composer and producer of original music! This is my first foray into the world of new age/meditation/ambient styles, as well. This two-track EP is my vocal and self-produced indie debut as a singer-songwriter! On this record I wrote, produced and mixed everything you hear, with the exception of the guitar playing that is done by my older brother/artist Paulito Muse. While I feel I have come a long way in terms of my production skills, especially vocal mixing, it's a pretty good testament to producing a song from scratch. For context this was released in 2023 so I have improved quite a bit since. I used Logic Pro exclusively for this production. Check out the whole EP on Bandcamp HERE: https://www.twine.net/signin
