Hello! I'm Kai Jansen, an unique, vocationally-inspired musician/songwriter/composer based in Emsworth, Hampshire, UK. My musical journey began at a young age, and over the years, I've had the privilege to work in various roles, with a minor publishing contract along the way—from performing as a professional musician to delving into production and audio engineering. I thrive on the creative process, always looking for new ways within the music & lyrical spheres, from poetry to symphonic poems., adult-pop songs to classical, jazz and folk-inspired pieces. In addition to performing as a guitarist/singer, I love connecting with audiences & artists in different settings. Music is not just a career, it's been a lifelong, passion. When not playing or recording some new pieces (for my own records at present) involving myself in other unexplored genres like so-called 'new-age' or meditative styles is just another growing experience. Overall the aim for any true musician is to find his own voice within a historically derivative art-form, as all cultural art-forms are. so 'working to order' is always a welcome challenge bringing something possibly unexpected to someone else's project, or to my own.
