paper Pan-Canadian Approach to Transforming Species at Risk Conservation in Canada

In 2018, the Federal, Provincial and Territorial governments agreed to implement a Pan-Canadian Approach to Transforming Species at Risk Conservation in Canada to focus conservation efforts on a set of collaboratively identified priorities across Canada, including priority places, species, sectors and threats.
Working closely with ECCC, Kate Cassidy developed a set of visual products supporting stakeholder communication about SARA and Pan-Canadian Approach implementation. The SARA Process Map was also updated to include information on the tools and practices supporting cooperative partnerships with provinces and territories, wildlife management boards, Indigenous partners, and other Canadians.
