Katie Osinski is a Brooklyn based designer with a background in interior architecture and professional experience as a lighting and retail designer. She has been able to master the use of light within a space as a narrative tool, and she is now looking to expand her breadth of experience and knowledge. Katie has been a lover of art and design since a young child, consistently drawn to world-building based activities and creation throughout her life. as an adult this has not only expanded to a career, but also stayed consistent as a source of enjoyment. In 2022, Katie founded Chainmail - an art collective created to foster a community of growth among artists who might not have been accepted into an ever-exclusive art world. She and her friends continue to organize non-profit community art shows today. Her experience with organizing and curating art shows has not only given her confidence that she can “make it work” but also served as another avenue of experiencing design. Katie is passionate about community, design, and art, and she is looking forward to her continued growth as a designer.
