    In collaboration with Improvisation Dance Festival (Istanbul) and Sanpapié Dance Company (Milano), we created a site-specific play named ‘CROSSING BORDERS’. The work reflects upon several topics such as the fluid boundaries of personal identity, the limits of coexistence between different peoples in neighboring spaces, the boundary-crossing condition of perpetual migration, the challenge of cross-culturalism in a capitalist world and the future crossings between the body and technology. CROSSING BORDERS was developed as part of Go Towards, an international project supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture.     ‘How Now Becomes Then’ is a contemporary dance performance that contemplates the transition of the present into the past in a three-part structure. With two bodies, three musicians, and two antique props, it explores time as a manifestation of movement; highlighting how each reality possesses its own rhythm and flow, interconnected in a larger choreography influenced by Istanbul's rich cultural history. The work adapts our understanding of time from linear to a spiral, suggesting that past events continue to resonate in the present.
