Hello, I’m Kylie, and I believe technology should belong to everyone.
For the last decade, I’ve been a graphic design artist and a business owner, but I pivoted to UX/UI Design because I’m driven by accessibility. I don’t just move pixels; I care about the logic that ensures a product is usable for everyone—whether they are color blind, hard of hearing, or a first-time user navigating an app for the first time.
I care about the ‘why’ behind a button and the systems that keep a product inclusive and scalable. To me, good design is effortless, intentional, and most importantly, unrestricted.
When I’m away from my desk, I’m at a pottery wheel, traveling, or out in the garden. If you want to talk design systems or inclusive UX, let’s chat.

problem
In a global market, ethical consumption has become an exercise in frustration. Corporations often hide behind vague “eco-friendly” labels and “greenwashed” marketing, making it nearly impossible for the average shopper to verify a product’s true impact. Consumers are left with “Information Overload”—wanting to make better choices but lacking the transparent, real-time data to do so at the point of purchase.
solution
EcoTrace is a mobile-first intelligence platform that strips away marketing jargon to reveal the raw truth of a product’s lifecycle. By combining a high-speed barcode scanner with a proprietary data engine, EcoTrace provides an instant “Ethics Grade” across three critical pillars:
-Environmental Impact
-Labor Ethics
-Lifecycle Transparency
EcoTrace is a mobile-first environmental intelligence platform designed to eliminate “greenwashing” and simplify ethical consumerism. By utilizing a high-speed barcode scanner and a proprietary data engine, the app provides shoppers with an instant, transparent look at a product’s lifecycle—from raw material sourcing to carbon emissions and labor ethics. EcoTrace was born from a frustration with the lack of accountability in global supply chains and the pervasive rise of ‘greenwashing.’ While most brands claim sustainability, I recognized that consumers were being forced to make high-stakes ethical decisions based on vague marketing rather than verifiable data. The vision was to move past the ‘trust us’ era of retail and build a tool that puts raw, environmental intelligence directly into the hands of the shopper.
Orbit is a map-based app designed to get people off their phones and into their communities. It replaces the endless scroll with a real-time map that helps users find local events, spontaneous meetups, and nearby gatherings as they happen. Orbit was born from a desire to pull users out of the ‘infinite scroll’ and back into the physical world. While traditional social media is designed to keep us stationary and isolated, I recognized a growing need for a platform that treats the digital space as a bridge, not a destination. Orbit was engineered to solve this disconnect by shifting the focus from global noise to hyper-local signal.
Atelier connects gallery visitors with the stories, processes, and people behind the world’s most compelling art. Atelier was born from a simple observation: museum galleries are often silent, but the art within them has a loud, untold story. While most visitors struggle with “placard fatigue”—the disconnect caused by dry, academic text—I saw an opportunity to use technology to humanize the experience. By meticulously researching how visitors interact with physical space, I developed a platform that bridges the gap between the viewer and the creator.
