Forty years ago, the mountain village of Cerdeira was almost abandoned. Only one inhabitant remained.

Today, artists from around the world come here to work with wood, clay and fire, transforming this small village into a living place of creativity.

This episode of Entre Aldeias explores how art, memory and community helped bring life back to a disappearing place in the Serra da Lousã.

Entre Aldeias is a cinematic journey through the villages of Portugal — exploring memory, craftsmanship and ways of life that are slowly disappearing.
