    uniE621 Illustrative wedding invitation
    I created a unique wedding invitation without the cliche of rose gold, cursive font and muted colour palette. The couple wanted an invitation that reflected elements of the wedding. I sat down with the client and went through wedding plans and moodboards provided by the venue. As it would be a destination wedding in France (and the bride has a fear of flying), we decided to reflect the journey that it would take to arrive at the venue - complete with their cats! Bold colours would be used throughout the decor, so this was reflected in the design. All elements were hand drawn first, then illustrated digitally.

    I entered a competition to create an illustrative typographic logo for The Lipstick Lobby using the words ‘Fired Up’ The Lipstick Lobby create products whose net profits go towards good causes. Their latest lipstick Fired Up donated 100% of its net profits are donated to The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence. I wanted to use the colours featured on the lipstick packaging and incorporate the lipstick ‘bullet’ itself as a double meaning, showing it as an exclamation point. I then added it to merchandise and in a poster campaign #logo #illustrator
    uniE621 Dortmund Beer brand refresh
    I was asked to provide a brand refresh for Dortmunder Beer to find a balance between the traditional brewing methods while attracting a growing younger audience. Using the links to the city of Dortmund and its landmarks. Dortmunder has been brewed to German Purity Laws since 1853. The Iconic ‘U’ symbol can still be seen all over the city. This symbol, along with a nod to the famous Borussia Dortmund Football team, became the focus of the new branding. Using a retro feel based on vintage posters and POS provided a good link to the heritage of the product, while using a very simple logo allowed the brand to be strong visually in a saturated market across a busy bar. The social media campaign focussed on using those strong block colours as a visually striking way of breaking through the more traditional lifestyle shots.
    uniE621 Craft on Draught brochure
    LWC drinks company required a brochure showcasing the wide range of craft beer range they offer on draught, without alienating its current customer base. Many of the craft beers showcased are from micro breweries that still use traditional brewing methods. As such I felt a hand illustrated and painted cover would tie in the authenticity and craftsmanship of the products. The title of the brochure was also hand-drawn to suit the style of the cover. I wanted the main focus on the inside pages to be the beer badges themselves, as they are the first point of contact many consumers have with the brand. I included an infographic to highlight key features of each beer. #illustrator #logo #branding

    Premier Inn briefed our team on creating a travel guide for their customers. This was based around Europeans visiting the UK and exploring the areas of food, history and culture. Wanting to go with a retro-feel, to bring Nostalgia – we based the look and feel around the style of Wes Anderson. I collaborated with another designer on my team to create the guide, including working on the internal illustrations and laying out the copy. The additions of hand drawn illustrations provided a more artisanal approach to a corporate brand. #illustrator #graphicdesigner
    uniE621 Onward Strength Gym Branding
    Onward strength is a personal passion project - creating a new brand identity for a womens gym to stand out against the stereotypical masculine colours and ‘beach body’ advertising. The name ‘onward strength’ came from the idea that a modern gym should be focussing on mental as well as physical health as they are oftern closely linked. I wanted to create a brand that featured simple geometric shapes that could be used as building blocks for the journey the members would take. The idea was to expand upon the idea of community, and getting more out of your gym membership than just aiming to lose weight or tone up.     uniE621 Pardal Beer brand refresh
    I was the graphic designer - tasked with a brand refresh of Budweiser Budvar Pardal Beer. I had to create new concepts, while keeping their namesake Panther within the design. Pardal is brewed in the Czech Republic. I researched traditional patterns, typography to allow the heritage of the country to show through in the branding. Budvar wanted to ensure that red was still featured within the colour palette. To bring a lighter tone and reflect the colour of the lager I took creams and golds from the architecture of Český Krumlov - the town where the brewery is based #branding #graphicdesigner
