Editorial Illustration: The New York Times
This editorial illustration is for a New York Times article "Is the Entire Economy Gentrifying?".…
    Editorial Illustration: Boston Globe
A series of 4 editorial illustrations done for the Boston Globe around the theme of the future of food. The article spoke of new tech in food, food scarcity, and even food for animals. To bring the theme all together, I built out a series of architectural spaces for these illustrations to play in. See more of the project here: https://www.twine.net/signin…
    Precision - Branding & Packaging
The refreshed identity centers around a bold new wordmark that draws inspiration from the blackletter influences of the original brand while creating a cleaner, more distinctive visual presence. The brand’s existing icon, previously its primary identifier, was retained as a tertiary mark—preserving a connection to Precision’s history without allowing it to dominate the new system. That original mark also helped inspire a subtle cyber sigilism texture that appears as a spot gloss across the packaging. The treatment creates a connection between the brand’s heritage, tattoo culture, and contemporary visual trends while adding depth and tactility without competing with the functional information on the package. A major focus of the redesign was the packaging label system. Tattoo artists work with a wide range of needle configurations, sizes, and tools, making clear and immediate product identification essential. I developed a bold, utilitarian labeling system that prioritizes the information artists need most and presents it in a way that can be quickly scanned and understood. Developing the system required research into both information hierarchy and how the products are actually stored and accessed in a working tattoo environment. This helped determine not only which information needed the greatest visual emphasis, but where that information should appear on the package so it remains visible when products are organized together. The result is a more cohesive and contemporary identity that balances the personality of the Precision brand with the practical demands of the artists who use its products. Recovery Aftercare - Branding & Packaging
Recovery Aftercare is one of the leading brands in tattoo, piercing, and permanent makeup aftercare. The goal of my work with them was to create a product aimed at professional tattooers and piercers as opposed to many consumer facing products. They wanted their packages and brand to reflect the high quality and reliability of their products. These products should fit the tattoo shops and studios that they would be used in daily. Knowing that, I pushed for clean, easy to read yet graphically relevant designs to help set Recovery apart. I refreshed the logo, marketing styles, colors, and over 20 products in their line (and growing). This brand also recently expanding to the UK and EU countries, and I redeveloped packaging to match the standards required to be sold there as well. BSA Expressions '24 The Cornerstone - Branding/Exhibition Design
I was recently commissioned to work on the branding and promotional design for Baltimore School for the Arts' annual fundraising event, Expressions. 2024's theme was the 100 year anniversary for the building in which the school occupies in downtown Baltimore. The concept brought to me was to emulate the 1920s art-deco style with the cornerstone of the actual building on full display withing the main logo concept. In this version of the event branding I explored bold colors that paid tribute to that time as well as ornate type. The main goal was to provide their marketing and promotional team a wide range of assets they could utilize in various forms throughout the event. Ultimate Tattoo Supply - Brand Identity
In 2025 Ultimate Tattoo Supply was in need of a rebrand, and I served as the Senior Art Director and chief designer on the project. My role was a collaborative effort with the Senior Creative Director and Senior Designer for the company. Below are some of my favorite contributions to the project: Logo design, palette, web design and some real world examples for their latest Labor Day sale.
