This is a musical inspired by a series of events in the life of Elizabeth Cochran, aka, Nellie Bly, the first professional female under cover journalist, taking place in the late 1800s. She is demonstrating a bit of insanity with this somewhat nonsensical song about working people. A production of the work is under discussion right now.

Too Many Working People

The musical is finished with over 20 songs orchestrated and arranged (I am the sole creator).

This was a demanding voice-over project for Twine AI. I often reject AI projects, but felt that this one was fair and would demonstrate some of my technical knowledge as well as an ability to follow very detailed technical instructions.

The job required various specific mic angles and distances, recording in various rooms of the home, as well as variance in vocal range. Instructions on organizing the labeling and submission of each of 30 recordings was also very exact. All of these requirements needed to be fulfilled before the work was accepted. I was thrilled when it was all approved.

This is orchestrated, capturing fleeting emotions in night time imaginings.

This was a project for a member of a Jewish Congregation who had serious insomnia. She had learned that music is therapeutic, and thought there might be some catharsis in the creation and listening of such a work.

There seemed to be a fair amount of success. Her insomnia was reduced by 2/3.
