Leila Dey (formally known as PG) has been in and out of the Toronto Urban scene for a few years now. Over the last couple of years her textured vocals have lent themselves to collaborate with artists like Joel Ortiz, Vybz Kartel, Luu Breeze, and Rayzak to name a few. Not to mention performing with K’naan at Illuminato Festival, being a part of Manifesto’s first all female cypher to recently opening for Melanie Fiona.Teaming up with Sandbox Studios to develop and produce her next few projects, Leila is in the studio everyday, working on new material, developing her sound and voice. "Being in the studio everyday has been such a learning experience, because there's no rush to get things done fast, it's about getting it done right” says Leila Dey.Focused on being a a voice well known in the city, Leila is preparing to release her EP, "Something from Nothing" as she finishes up her follow-up project "For the Love Of”."I just want to make music people love, and to love the music I make." _Website not available.
