This annual ceremony awards students exceptional projects in different areas of communication design such as Ux Design, photography and Advertising. The brief includs a video trailer and the design of the trophy that the winner of each category receives.
    Over the time spent at Naba, all the students undergo significant changes in their professional and personal life. In the rush that comes with the academic projects and events, students don’t have the proper time to stop for a moment and see how they’ve truly changed throughour their studies at Naba. But there are these exceptional moments when you pause the work and see the difference between “now” and “then”. These moments come when the work has been appreciated…

    In some vintage movies like THE TENANT, the titles might be outdated and tediuous to watch for the new audiences, because they were originally created for the screening in movie theaters. However, due to the shift from cinemas to online streaming platforms such as Netflix, the function and style of movie titles has changed significantly. Like series intros, movie titles now are designed to get the viewer hooked and in the mood for the movie he/she is about to watch.
    That’s why I felt the necessity to redesign the titles of THE TENANT, a 70s masterpiece due to it’s unsettling atmosphere and the masterful direction of Roman Polanski that has the quality of European independent cinema. The challenge was to come up with titles that would make the movie more appealing to the young audience without excessively distorting the mood of the original titles.

    MISCHIEF is a young boundary-pushing and unconventional brand known for blending art and consumer products in ways that challenge the norm. In 2024 they launched 2 x 4 boots, the first shoes on the market which are made almost entirely out of rubber sole. In our modern day consumeristic and fetishizing society where people tend to buy shoes only for their great looks, MISCHIEF challenges their audience and launches a campaign that highlights the shoes functionality and comfort over their aesthetic features.
    2x4 boots becomes the everyday everyman option designed specifically for those who seek the ultimate foot protection against any undesired agents lying on the street such as slippery water, mud and many others.

    THE ROAD NOT TAKEN is a famous poem written by Robert Frost about life choices and the melancholy and uncertainty that can result from it.
    Through this video which accompanies the beautiful and emotional lyrics of Robert Frost, I wanted to give my personal interpretation of it, mainly through images with nature as a protagonist seen from the perspective of a lonely traveller. Even though the images are mostly realistic, I tried to mantain a slight element of magic and timelessness throughout the video and to get the audience as immersed into the landscapes as I was while shooting them. We constantly find ourselves in front of divergent paths that might lead onto comnpletely different journeys.
    The important thing is not which path we choose but how we eventually go with it.

    Elton John is one of the most popular pop music artists which ever lived and she shaped this genre like few other’s. Despite being well established among gen X and Baby Boomers, many people among Gen Z don’t know the songs of this artist. This is when I decided that I wanted to pay tribute to this prolific artist who has created iconic songs as GOODBYE YELLOW BRICK ROAD, ROCKETMAN, BENNY AND THE JETS and I’M STILL STANDING.
    For his 50th anniversary since his debut, I wanted to create a restyling of one of his old songs, all in a style that reflects the naive and nostalgic 70s vibe when the song first came out, but that at the same time meets the Graphic taste of the new generations.
