Lead the state cultural heritage policy for Maranhão, responsible for conservation and management of 3,500 listed buildings in the UNESCO World Heritage site of São Luís historic centre. Oversee a state-wide network of 23 cultural institutions (museums, libraries and cultural centres), coordinating conservation, programming and capacity-building actions. Lead a multidisciplinary team of 15+ technical staff in heritage protection, urban rehabilitation, and intervention review. Conceived and implemented urban rehabilitation programmes including 'Nosso Centro' and 'Adote um Casarão', advancing public-private partnerships and adaptive reuse policies for the historic centre.
