I recently relocated to New York from Portland, OR where I was working at Columbia Sportswear for the last four years on their DTC merchandising team. I started as an Assistant Buyer managing the prAna Womens and Columbia Youth Apparel business. From there an Associate Buyer role was created for me so I could continue my growth within the company. During this role I managed Sorel Footwear for our Columbia Employee and Factory Outlet stores. This consisted of up to 600 SKUs and $15M/year in sales. In April of this last year I let my team know I would be moving to New York in October. I was promoted into a Senior Buyer role end of May/beginning of June where I managed the prAna business for our Employee and Factory Outlet stores. This business consisted of Apparel, Accessories and Equipment totaling up to 1200 SKUs and $25M/year in sales. After the role I moved to New York for was put on pause indefinitely, I am now seeking my next role within the retail space!
