Hi, my name is Lindsey Jordan. I am currently a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I am pursuing a degree in photography and film. My passion for visual storytelling has driven me to explore the many ways in which images, both still and moving, can capture meaning and bring a story to life. Nature serves as inspiration for my creativity, along with how travel has expanded my perspective and improved my artistic voice, allowing me to experience new things. When I travel to new places, I always take something back with me that can’t be bought. I take these magical stories, experiences, and knowledge into what shapes me to be a better creative and a human. My photographs look for the quiet stories that exist in everyday places and moments. Shooting mostly analog, I capture scenes that sit somewhere between calm and uneasy, where something ordinary starts to feel a little strange. My work often focuses on how people fit into their surroundings. I am very observant of the world, so I create this sense of curiosity and distance in my images.
