    uniE621 ECYC materials
Multiple projects for the European Confederation of Youth Clubs, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of youngsters across the continent. With a slowly evolving visual identity, I worked in the graphics for events (Resilient Generation, the annual conference; Sarajevo, the general assembly; and smaller workshops) as well as the start of the new website with an international team. I also personally attended and helped with the administrative tasks. The audience is separated in multiple groups, in order of how often they’re catered for: investors and members, youth workers plus other professionals, and young people themselves. ECYC doesn’t directly deal with youth, but must keep in touch with them and reserve a spot in their decision-making for their perspective. The graphics used to advertise any part of the organization must, then, also reflect this, and stay away from a too-corporate, too-manufactured look. Usual products include posters, social media posts, banners, forms, and report documents. I used Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create the posters, graphics, and mockups.
    uniE608 Masterpieces
‘Masterpieces’ is an international collaboration with museums all over Europe, with the goal to get people to visit their local galleries. While I was studying and working abroad, I was surprised to find famous pieces in unsuspecting places I had barely heard of, and after some quick chats with fellow students or co-workers I discovered that they were as unaware as me. Making use of easy-to-look-at visuals and fun copywriting, this project calls and targets for everybody: from young adults that will recognize inside jokes in the advertisement, to older demographics that will appreciate un-complicated graphics and marvel at the works of art exhibited. Each museum in the program has its own set of materials, and the one showcased here is the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Brussels. The classic mix of serif and sans serif not only works seamlessly to create pleasant billboards and brochures, but also reflects the desire to aim towards a big public. I made all of the digital and print designs in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, and the mock-ups below were modelled, textured, and rendered out in Blender. Masterpieces also is conceptualized to have not only an Instagram page, but also a responsive website available to the whole continent that I built on Figma.
    uniE621 No Concept Stores
A new logotype, branding, and series of visuals created for No Concept Stores to advertise their products and solidify their identity. This includes paid and social media ads (Meta, Instagram, websites), a themed newsletter, and some print products (shop display, tags). Their main public is women, from their early 30s and forward, who are well-off and put importance in their looks. Continuing with the initial direction of their concept, I further developed an elegant and stylist look. In this case, it’s important to make use of products that will be eye-catching to them, but also maintain a certain air of trendiness that is not confusing to those audiences who aren’t that committed to staying on the look-out for anything and everything new. I made sure to include elements popular amongst the younger population while maintaining a common denominator so it’s not too ‘on the nose’. The combination of different typographies to use as components of the layout is something we see often in fashion advertisement, especially formed by ‘delicate’ and ‘elegant’ looking shapes. This paired with minimalistic decisions and soft gradients gives a chic but somewhat youthful air to the designs. I used Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign to create the ads and mockups, and Figma for the interactive newsletter.
