Independent Product Designer (UX UI) at Gently — Wellbeing Support App
February 1, 2024 - Present
Self-initiated mobile product (UX/UI). Researched burnout and motivational drop-off patterns among freelancers through analysis of online creative communities. Synthesised insights into user journeys and defined a micro-intervention product strategy. Designed end-to-end mobile prototype in Figma (lo-fi to hi-fi). Conducted three usability testing rounds; simplified choice architecture, introduced visual emotion selection, and added progress indicators to improve clarity and completion. Result: Improved interaction flow and emotional usability through research-driven iteration.
